Genius, Idiot, or just not that smart?

What’s goody? What’s going dine? Hope all is well on your end! Blessings have been bestowed on me so I will never complain. I’m just happy to be choppin it up with y’all again! But hey convos like these ain’t really convos if their one sided, so feel free to leave some comments after y’all read this! I know you’re about to tell your patna or your bestie about this, so go ahead and leave your two cents on how you feel about Drizzy’s recent abdominal update, or even the prez’s pod homie’s…positive or negative, I’m open to hearing from you.

So I just mentioned the “prez’s pod homies” and I'm sure you’re thinking, “Dizzle, wthelly you talking about? We ain't read nothing from you on that!” Ok let’s be honest, if you’re reading this right now “what the helly” probably isn’t in your vocabulary, but shoutout to all of the Gen Z’ers who might have stumbled upon this written form of media called a blog. And for my Millennials who want to keep this to themselves, don’t worry…I’ll write next week’s blog in cursive so Gen Z can’t translate it. Anyways I digress back to the prez and his pod homies, before I get into all of this just know that I’ve put off talking about this clown ever since I started this thing back up, but I just thought to myself “Dizzle, wthelly, the podcast faves are in the news and trumpy can’t stay out of the news so let’s talk about it.”

So I’ve been a fan of Andrew Schultz for a long time now. I stumbled upon him when I saw that Charlemagne tha God had a podcast called 'Brilliant Idiots' and when I began listening I thought that this dude was pretty damn hilarious. Throughout the past few years I’ve watched and supported Schulz as a fan through his standup comedy specials, as well as his own podcast “Flagrant 2.” He’s actually been a source of inspiration for myself, and I’m sure many other creatives out there. Now if you’re a Brilliant Idiots fan like myself, you probably remember that when trump was first running for president, Schulz made a name for himself listing issues with Hilary Clinton, as well as the Democratic Party, and how they either contradicted themselves, or were out of touch with what the American people wanted/felt. Oh and if you were wondering what the name was that Schulz made for himself, it was “Alt-Right Andy” that’s the name! But see, here’s the thing, during this time, I actaully somewhat agreed with Alt-Right Andy! The way that he packaged these arguments weren’t so much as in pro-trump, but more so in questions/conflicts that the Democratic Party needed to answer to. Now let me make this abundantly clear, although I agreed with Schulz on some of these things and understood his perspective, I never once considered voting for the orange man. Having said that, we know the results of the 2016 election, and afterwards, it turned out that some of the issues that Schulz brought up, were acutal concerns of some Americans, and some would say were reasons that some people voted for trump in the first place.

Now let’s fast forward to July 10, 2025. In between trumps first term and this day, January 6th happened, Biden became president, Cardi B married Offset from The Migos, Cardi B divorced Offeset from the Migos, Cardi B addressed the rumors of her BBL stench, oh and trump was elected president again. This second time around, trump made a press run different than any of his other predecessors, he visited popular podcasts such This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von, The Joe Rogan Experience…oh and Flagrant 2 w/ Andrew Schulz. Schulz’s podcast is known for his no-hold barred, nothing of limits jokes style, all while interviewing wild eccentric guests, so when it was announced he was interviewing trump, I’m sure that all of his fans were excited about what he would ask and what would happen with a political maverick like trump. I however was skeptical, due to listening to the Brilliant Idiot episodes at the time, Schulz more and more seemed to be in favor of trump as opposed to any democratic nominee. Now in fairness to Schulz, the critique of this particular episode is far too many months late, and I will say that he himself tried to conduct a tough yet positive interview, but this episode lacked the goofiness, swag, and “hard hitting playfulness” that other episodes contained. (I realize that “hard hitting playfulness” seems contradictive but if you were a regular Flagrant listener I’m sure you would understand). Basically, to me, it was a softball interview! Now here we are at July 10, 2025, trump is president, his team has recently announced that there are no Epstein files, (even though it was a big topic that they campaigned on), and Schulz and his team decides to release their newest episode of Flagrant 2, discussing the issue stating “so we’re the idiots I guess” as well as a MAGA favorite “I voted for none of this.”

Ok I’m sorry that this has been boring as shit so far but I just needed to paint some background to all of this, if you want to go back to Love Island right now you can. I’m just gonna say that I do believe it’s BS that Huda made it to the finals with a man that don’t even like her, but that’s neither here or there.

Anyways, Schulz is now coming to the realization that maybe just maybe, he was played by the trumpster. And I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I almost think about, pondering on the idea of feeling sorry for trumpsters who just realized their hero is full of panda shit. And you could possibly feel that way for Schulz as well until you realize who Chris Morrow is. For those of you who don’t know, Morrow is a New York Times best selling author who’s worked with hip hop icons like Rev Run and Russell Simmons (sheesh) as well as 50 Cent. He’s also CEO of Loud Speaker Networks, which is home to various podcasts including, Brilliant Idiots, featuring…oh wait never mind I mentioned this earlier. But what I didn’t mentioned is that Morrow also seldomly mentions on the Brilliant Idiots podcast, that at one time he worked on a book with Donald trump. Morrow oftenly mentions how much of scumbag trump is, how he can’t be trusted, and that trump is essentially a conman that is terrible for the country. This is like reading bad reviews for “Cruella de Vil’s Puppy Palace” and then still taking your dog their to be boarded while on vacation. (Sorry I’m on a Disney vacation right now)

The “I didnt vote for this” crowd is always funny to me because, they say this as to take some moral high ground as if their above all the fuck shit that’s happening. When in actuality in the moment, you're not just in fuck shit, you’re below the fuck shit! You're in the Grand Canyon of fuckshit! You mean to tell me that you thought a guy, who was pictured and noted friends with one of the biggest human shitstains this world has seen, would come in to power and then hide, I’m sorry I mean EXPOSE everything that happened? Listen, I don't have to sit here and list all of trumps lies, because frankly it would just take my ADHD brain off topic into a thousand other rabbit holes and points that I could make about how terrible he is. The point I'm making, is that Schulz isn't an idiot by any means, and frankly he's had voices in his corner warning him about what was going to happen in this presidency, maybe he just had some new voices that were just a bit louder. And I must say that as a fan, that's disappointing. Now what could and what should Schulz do from here on out you ask...I would say for one don't deflect back on the democrats and don't play dumb or shocked at what's happening. But two, acknowledge the fuckshit (which he is beginning to do) and GO HARD. That's what he's known for, so he's gotta go just as hard on trump (probably even harder) than anyone else he's ever went in on. Pretend that trump just bitch slapped a comedian on stage in front of the world, and hold no punches when it comes trump and all of the fuckshit that surrounds him!

Now on to another podbro that's not an idiot at all, but maybe he's not as smart as everyone gives him credit for. Mr. Joe Rogan has been on top of the podcast mountain for quite sometime now. In my opinion, he's probably one of the top 10 most influential people in America right now (and that's me being conservative). So when Rogan interviewed trump, and then eventually endorsed him, I knew that trump then had a really good chance in winning. What was interesting to me though, was that after he interviewed trump, he also interviewed Elon Musk. And in this interview, the topic of the presidency was obviously at hand, and both Rogan and Musk questioned the celebrities that endorsed Kamala Harris, that were also associated with Diddy in some form or fashion. This led to credibility attacks to not only these certain celebrities, but also to Harris herself, as photoshopped pictures of her and Diddy together began to spread around social media and the internet in general. To link a person that wants to vote for a candidate, to an alleged sex trafficker, and insinuate that not only the person is involved somewhat with the sex trafficKer, but also that the candidate themselves maybe involved as well is simply bad faith journalism. Silly me though, this isn't journalism, it's just two bro's chattin and chillin, so what's the actual harm right?

Oh my bad, I completely forgot to mention Rogan's conversation with trump about epstein, their relationship and the pictures that they took together. Oh wait that's not my bad, I didn't forget about it, BECAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENED! Harris being judged and somewhat held accountable for something that she's not even directly associated with, while trump skates by his major red flags without them even being raised. The thing that both Schulz and Rogan have in common is that they both invited Harris to come onto their podcasts as well, but obviously she didn't. Now I'll be the first to admit, especially given hindsight vision of the results, I believe she should've done both podcasts and it might have cost her the presidency...but can you really blame her? I mean Rogan said that he just wanted to sit down and chill and have a chat with her to get to know her, but with the comments about her Diddy associated supporters, do we really think she would've gotten a "chill interview?" But surely she could've visited Schulz's podcast, I do believe he would've been fair across the board with her. But would it really have been wise to sit in a comedians podcast, known for interviewing multiple right wing conspiracy theorists, including the human septic tank himself, Al*x J*n*s. How would that help your presidency run, joining the likes of a man who's filed for bankruptcy because of fueling disgusting conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook school shooting (btw the fact that I had to look up the exact school because I couldn't remember exactly "which" school shooting this was is despicable).

Listen, these things that have happened with Schulz and Rogan are in the near past and it's not much they can do to change them now. But I say "near past" for a reason...this epstein shit isn't the only issue that both podcasters have criticized trump for so far in this second term. So I could maybe almost understand that if at the end of the four years of this (hopefully last) term, you looked back and said "man that was disappointing, I didn't vote for that." But for all of this to be happening merely 6 months after he was inaugurated, tells me that trump simply played you like a fiddle. That man wasted no time in doing everything that he told you he wasn't going to do. I've said this before, but alot of people are lucky that trump isn't actually a pimp, because if he was, alot of you would be booted over on Bissonnet with ya butt cheeks spread open (for my non-Houstonians, Google Bissonnet street in Houston; for my Houstonians, stay ya nasty ass away from Bissonnet street). But this leads me to my last point, for the life of me I can't understand how these conspiracy theorist type personalities, can believe all of these different "crazy" outcomes and stories (crazy is in quotes because some of them can actually make sense) but can't see a conman for who he is right in front of their eyes? The history of trump (I wanted to begin this sentence with trump, but still don't want to justify his name with capitalization) is riddled with Conning and Capism. It's what he says and what he does, it's who he is...how can you not see it? And I'm not talking to the average republican voter or to MAGA "guys" and sometimes "gals" (btw one day when I'm feeling in a bright enough mood I'll talk about how unintentionally hilarious trump is). I'm talking specifically to the conspiracy theory believers, who see "evidence" of odd outcomes in history and jump out the window with their thoughts. Idk man this isn't for me to figure out, and I'm not gonna wreck my brain trying to, I'm just gonna call out odd things when I see it and speak on it when I feel like talking about it...and actually I do have somewhat of a theory specifically for people like Schulz and Rogan, but I'll save that for another day cuz I'm done with this for now.

Thank you for taking some time to kick it with me, hopefully you enjoyed yourself...and if not holla at me, I'm open to hearing different perspectives. But if there's anything I want you to remember from your time with me, it's that I love you and JESUS LOVES YOU...even you Schulz and Rogan!
