Quick question, if you HAD to fight a dinosaur to the death, which dinosaur do you think you could actually take? Don’t ask me what prompted this question, this is just the type of shit that goes on in my head sometimes! I can't explain it nor obtain it! But anyways, I asked my wife this question and she wasn’t really to confident in her abilities. And needless to say, she wasn’t very confident in mine as well. And that’s understandable to an extent, but on the other hand…I know there’s at least one of them prehistoric bitches I can take on! Now obviously you can rule out the Stegosaurus and the Triceratops cuz they got them pointy shits on top of them and also the Triceratops looks like the hardest shelled Dino of them all. Like if you had to fight it to the death you’d have to bite it or something and that would be like biting through a stack of dinner plates! So that takes them off the plate, next you have the Petradactyl. Now there’s a conundrum as well because they have the advantage of wings so you gotta either trick em into squabbling up on the ground or get swooped up and try and murk em in the air, and that’s an automatic L! Now I might could make a Brontosaurus my bitch, especially since they don’t even eat meat. But the main issue would be tryna figure out where to choke em out at. Where do you think their throat is on that long ass neck? And how strong do you think that neck is? Because if you get up there and they do their best Merton Hanks impression they could easily send you flying like a MF!

But let's not forget about the T-Rex...them shits is fast and ferocious! So I know I wouldn't stand a chance with them...but a baby T-Rex? Oh I'm putting a baby T-Rex in the spin cycle fa sho! Think about it, yea they're probably fast as well, but they don't have the height advantage anymore. Plus they got those short ass arms so you can use your reach to get a few jabs off, and then when you got em dazed and confused, you reign its ass in and finish the job. The only thing you'd really have to watch out for is your eyes, because if you let them claws get your eyes it's a wrap my G!

Is this your king?

So I recently saw that Elon Musk was on the Joe Rogan podcast and decided to dedicate 3 hrs of my life to hear what Musk had to say since I hadn’t heard anything from him in a while. I then realized the reason that I hadn’t heard from Musk recently is because I had him muted on twitter, which then explained why I‘ve been enjoying my time on the app much more lately. But anyways, I saw this as an opportunity to learn more about Musk, as I’d never really listened to a long form conversation with him, but was mainly interested in hearing how Rogan would approach the conversation around trump, being that he’s been somewhat critical about some things that have happened since he’s been in office this second time around.

What struck me as interesting to say the least is that early in the pod, they both began joking about the Jeffrey Epstein suicide and how it’s been an obvious cover up, and even included Kash Patel and Dan Bongino are in on the cover up. Correction…that’s not what I found interesting at all, I think everyone pretty much believes that at this point. What I found interesting is that Rogan didn’t find it necessary to approach trump’s association with Epstein, or even ask Musk about his tweet (X post) that he sent out earlier this year, accusing trump of blocking the release of the files because his name is included throughout the files. IS THIS YOUR MEDIA KING???

The leader of the podcast free world is avoiding asking his friend about their friends association with a world wide known child sex trafficker! I’ll admit, I’ve never been the biggest Rogan fan, but I’ve never been a Rogan hater either! I think it’s been pretty cool to see what he’s built, and have watched a few of his interviews that I’ve enjoyed. And I’ve obviously have had my criticism of him in the past, but I will say, not only am I highly disappointed in the lack of objectivity in this recent Musk interview, but also the lack of awareness to see this as an opportunity to continue his run as being seen as a “call it how you see it” thought leader. They then had the audacity later in the episode to speak out on other cases of sexual violence against women, as well as praise trump as being a “good guy.” What am I missing here? So both Rogan and Musk believe that the Epstein suicide is phony and the releasing of the files, or lack thereof, is being done in order to protect the elites, but the guy who can very easily order the release of said files but has also called them a “hoax,” is a good guy? Again…WHAT AM I MISSING? Because those two ideals don’t coincide! You can’t be against child sex trafficking but also be cool with someone who is potentially protecting participants in said trafficking! At this point, why you would associate yourself with someone like this is beyond me. But watch who people continue to consider their "faves" because it's becoming very telling.

New Chance is a jammer!

In lighter news I told yall a while back I started listening to more new music this year and I think I’ve finally found my favorite album of the year. Now obviously the Clipse and JID put out stellar projects earlier this year, and I raved to y'all about the Gauxstman earlier as well, but Chance the Rapper's "Star Line" has had the most replay value in my lil Volvo lately. Boys had written Chance off based off of that last album he put out. And I'm gonna say something very unpopular...I actually didn't mind that album at all. Niggas was hatin cuz my boy was bragging on marriage and what not, but we not gonna act like 'Big Fish' ft. Gucci Mane wasn't a musical semblance of the fire emoji! However, I would be lying if I said I didn't find the twitter jokes about the album absolutely hilarious.

In fact, Chance addresses his last album in the intro to Star Line, saying it was an F-, which is being a little harsh Chance. You got atleast a C+. Anyways, this album is filled with great production, great raps, diverse subject matter, and phenomenal features. Hearing Do or Die on 'Ride' was an absolute breath of fresh air. Back in the day did you ever come across a song that no matter how hard you tried not to you just had to run it back after it finished? Sometimes you didn't even let the song fully finish, as soon as the last verse was completed you were already mashing the Back button. That's what 'Ride' is! It's just a dope ass song man. There's not much else to really say about it. It's a song that can attract the most casual hip hop fan as well as garner respect a hip hop head who's not a hater! Another thing I loved about the album, is it's sequenced well but you could also throw it on shuffle and just let it run. Of course there are gonna be songs you like more than others but you won't find yourself pressing that skip button much. I know that most albums are put together to be heard in a specific order and I respect that, but sometimes for me the way that I can judge how good an album truly is, is by just let random songs play and seeing how many times I have to interrupt whatever else I'm doing in the moment to get to the next song. That being said, I will reiterate it's sequenced well and should be listened to as intended the first few times. Another thing that I like is there's medicine directly in the candy. Chance doesn't ride the high of a few good playful songs that are automatic jammers to captivate the listener and then mix in more serious subject matter. Which is something that he easily could've done, especially given the response to his last album. But on Star Line, right after 'Ride' as the second song on the album you get 'No More Old Men' and 'The Negro Problem.' Chance is gonna unapologetically be him and present music that he feels is great as well as important, and that's why I fuck with him. If I had to say there was a down point in the album it would be the three track run with 'Space & Time,' 'Link Me In the Future,' and 'Gun in Yo Purse.' These songs aren't bad, they just aren't my favorites, so they'll occasionally get a skip every now and then. Other songs from this album that I love are, 'The High & The Lows' ft. Joey Badass, 'Letter,' 'Just a Drop' ft. Jay Electronica, and 'Speed of Love ft. Jazmine Sullivan. The only thing that I'm disappointed in is that nothing associated with the album was included in the Grammy nominations. But at the same time it's not like the Grammy's are the end all be all for what the best music is, so fuck it. But I encourage all of you to go check out the Chance if you haven't yet, you'll enjoy yourself!

Thanks for kickin' it with me this week! I'm gonna try to be more consistent writing and providing more dope shit for y'all to consume. In the meantime hit me up on the socials @dizzlestax10k! Let me know what y'all think, I'd love to hear input from the readers, either on here or the socials. If you didn't get anything from this blog that's ok, but the one thing that I do want you to know is that I love you and more importantly JESUS LOVES YOU TOO!
